Thank you for your interest in the 2013 ISEAL Conference, which focused on the theme of Impacts and Innovation and how the sustainability standards movement can harness technological advances, new tools, and opportunities for collaboration to take the important next steps in the drive to demonstrate and improve social and environmental impacts.
ISEAL's annual conference is the pre-eminent gathering point for ISEAL members, the world's most recognised and influential social and environmental standards, to engage with the growing standards community and important users of standards, such as businesses, governments and NGOs, on how to drive the movement forward.
Keynote speeches at the 2013 conference were delivered by Marks & Spencer, Unilever, SAP and the Ford Foundation. A closing panel included experts from Rainforest Alliance, Marine Stewardship Council, Tetrapak, WWF, Neslte and Chatham House. To learn more about all of the speakers that took part, click here.
We began the 2013 Conference with the launch of the ISEAL Credibility Principles and then continued with a full day of sessions organised into two streams: 1) Impacts and the collective drive to demonstrate positive sustainability results 2) Innovation and the diverse ways that standards systems are collaborating and re-inventing themselves through the use of technology to scale up and deliver on their goals.
