The Roundtable on Sustainable Biofuels (RSB) is pleased to announce an upcoming auditor training course, 19-23 September 2011, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This course will be co-taught by the RSB Secretariat and AB Training, and participants who successfully pass the course will be granted the authorization to conduct audits against the RSB standards, on behalf of RSB recognised certification bodies.
Auditors with an interest in working in the certification of social and environmental criteria for bioenergy operations are invited to attend this training seminar. Developed through a multi-āstakeholder process, the RSB is the most recognisable sustainability seal for biofuel operations at the global level. Auditors with experience with FSC, RSPO, GlobalGap, SA 8000 and other relevant social and natural resource management standards that are interested in expanding into the bioenergy sector are especially encouraged to attend. Auditors that participate in this course will be highly sought after by first-mover companies seeking RSB certification in the latter half of 2011.
Start: Monday, September 19, 2011 at 9am
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Exact location TBA
Duration: The course is four full days, followed by a half day knowledge exam on Friday, September 23.
