The ISEAL Alliance calls for contributions to the development of the ISEAL Code of Good Practice for Assessing the Impacts of Social and Environmental Standards Systems. The public consultation is open between 1 September and 31 October.
Social and environmental standards systems exist to create a world where ecological sustainability and social justice are the normal conditions of business. But how can we measure the impact that standards systems have on the world? The ISEAL Alliance is leading the development of a Code of Good Practice for Assessing the Impacts of Social and Environmental Standards Systems. The code will establish a framework for what to measure and how, ensuring comparability and compatibility of results. From 1 September to 31 October 2009 you are invited to contribute your ideas for improvement, discuss key issues and propose changes to the code. Please visit http://community.isealalliance.org/impacts-code to take part and access the consultation documents. Comments are accepted through the website, by email to consultation [at] isealalliance [dot] org or by mail to ISEAL Alliance, Unit 1 Huguenot Place, 17 Heneage Street, London E1 5LJ, United Kingdom Webinars on the ISEAL Impacts Code
