The ISEAL Alliance is looking for a Fundraising Co-ordinator to play a critical role in supporting the Director of Development & Fundraising and the Senior Management Team in strengthening the financial foundation for the scaling up of ISEAL’s work during this time. Location: London, UK. Deadline for Applications: 13 July.
ISEAL is an international non-profit organisation that codifies best practice for the design and implementation of social and environmental standards systems. ISEAL shapes the context in which voluntary standards systems operate, by defining what good practice looks like for the sector, as well as through influencing how external stakeholders think about and engage with credible voluntary standards systems. ISEAL Alliance members such as the Forest Stewardship Council, the Marine Stewardship Council, and the Fairtrade Labelling Organizations are leading organisations in social and environmental standard-setting and certification, and are committed to compliance with ISEAL Credibility Tools.
The ISEAL Alliance has developed an ambitious Strategic Plan for 2009-2013 that will ensure that voluntary standards systems play an expanding role in achieving social justice and ecological sustainability. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the Director of Development & Fundraising and the Senior Management Team in strengthening the financial foundation for the scaling up of ISEAL’s work during this time. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Fundraising Coordinator who can make a strong contribution to ISEAL’s Trust and Statutory fundraising programme into and through its next phase of development. With a professional, dynamic and sociable team, a supportive organisation and a powerful cause, this is a superb opportunity for the right candidate.
Building on strong existing relationships with a core set of funding partners, you will support the acquisition of new donor relationships for ISEAL Alliance and will help expanding and diversifying ISEAL’s income streams. In addition to a proven trust and statutory funding track record, possibly with knowledge at the international scale, you will be strengthening the fundraising capacity of ISEAL and support initiatives aimed at guaranteeing its long-term sustainability.
ISEAL’s head office is in London with nodal offices in Belgium, Australia and Canada. The position will be based in the head office and report into the Director of Development and Fundraising.
Interested candidates should submit a current CV and a statement explaining how they meet the selection criteria for the position.
The deadline for receipt of applications (by email) is 5pm GMT on 13 JULY 2010. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by 16 July 2010 and interviews (in London or by teleconference) will take place on 20/21 July in London. If there is a round of second interviews this would be taking place on 28/29 July 2010 at the London office.
