The ISEAL Alliance is proud to announce the opening of its Brussels office. Part of ISEAL’s international operations, the new office will become the nerve centre for the organisation’s policy and outreach programme.
The new office will work with key users and supporters of social and environmental standards as part of ISEAL’s mission to drive social and environmental change. It will widen the reach of ISEAL’s capacity building programme to include civil society, business and governmental representatives and develop outreach campaigns to promote credible social and environmental standards.
ISEAL is committed to lead efforts to bring together governments and voluntary standards systems. With governmental partners, ISEAL’s policy programme will pursue the creation of a permanent dialogue between public bodies and voluntary standards systems, to learn from each other and share best practice.
The new office is located in the quarter St. Gilles, just around the corner from the Eurostar Terminal at Gare du Midi:
