ASI built its reputation managing the accreditation program of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), and since 2006, the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) accreditation program.
ASI verifies the independence, competence and performance of certification bodies according to the requirements of the standard system. ASI maintains a quality management system in accordance with ISO guide ISO/IEC 17011.
