ISEAL Alliance

The Emerging Initiatives programme of the ISEAL Alliance provides an opportunity for social and environmental standards and conformity assessment organisations to build on existing knowledge and experiences. By learning from others, emerging initiatives will be in a better position to establish credible and effective programmes. Credible programmes are more likely to be taken seriously by stakeholders, recognised and supported by governments and industry, and have real impacts on the ground.

As the central role of stakeholder engagement in the success and legitimacy of voluntary certification systems has emerged, so too has the potential for online tools to offer a new framework for how an organisation relates to and with its stakeholders.
