ISEAL members are committed to improving their standards and are innovating to respond to changing expectations.
We work closely with our members and our broader community to improve and strengthen their standards and supporting strategies. Our Codes of Good Practice are an important foundation for this work.
Effective standards systems need to demonstrate their impacts. We help our members gather and communicate evidence on the benefits of sustainability standards. Good evidence is built on good data, and we’re committed to work with our members to ensure they make relevant and reliable information available to those who need it.
We recognise that sustainability standards can’t do it alone; collaboration is essential. We convene and catalyse effective partnerships around critical sustainability issues. Examples include the Living Income Community of Practice, the IPM Coalition’s work on pesticide and the Global Living Wage Coalition.
We also provide direct support to our members to develop solutions and share learning through our Innovations Fund.
