GLOBALG.A.P. is a brand of smart farm assurance solutions developed by FoodPLUS GmbH in Cologne, Germany, with cooperation from producers, retailers, and other stakeholders from across the food industry. These solutions include a range of standards for safe, socially and environmentally responsible farming practices. The most widely used GLOBALG.A.P. standard is Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA), applicable to fruit and vegetables, aquaculture, floriculture, livestock, and more. This standard also forms the basis for the GGN label: the consumer label for certified, responsible farming and transparency.

The GLOBALG.A.P. brand began its journey as EUREPGAP in 1997. 25 years later, over 200,000 producers have GLOBALG.A.P. certification in 134 countries. Nearly 150 team members around the world are dedicated to the mission of spreading responsible farming practices to ensure safe food for future generations.

With more than 30 years of experience, OEKO-TEX® works globally to enable consumers and businesses in the textile and leather industry to protect our planet by acting responsibly. The association, consisting of independent research institutes, offers standardised solutions that enable companies to optimise their manufacturing processes and help bring high-quality, sustainable products to market. All services in the OEKO-TEX® portfolio serve to strengthen the systems, processes and products of customers and - ultimately - to create more sustainable companies.

About ResponsibleSteel

ResponsibleSteel is the only global multi-stakeholder standard and certification initiative for responsibly sourced and produced steel. The ResponsibleSteel International Standard covers a range of sustainability issues: climate change, pollution, and human rights concerns by taking into account both direct and upstream greenhouse gas emissions, air and water pollution, pollution from mining coal and iron ore, labour standards, and more.

Businesses from every part of the steel supply chain, civil society groups, associations, and other organisations with an interest in a sustainable steel industry from anywhere in the world are welcome to join. ResponsibleSteel’s mission is to maximise steel’s contribution to a sustainable world. Its aim is to enhance the responsible sourcing, production, use and recycling of steel by:

  • Providing a multi-stakeholder forum to build trust and achieve consensus;
  • Developing standards, certification and related tools;
  • Driving positive change through the recognition and use of responsible steel.

About Swiss Better Gold

The Swiss Better Gold Association is a non-profit organisation set up by Swiss businesses across the gold supply chain.

The Association’s purpose is to support artisanal and small-scale gold mining (ASGM) and to develop effective, sustainable, and responsible supply chains from ASGM producers to its members. The purchase of Swiss Better Gold by the members includes a Swiss Better Gold impact premium, which is directly reinvested into ASGM operations and their communities in the form of technical, social, and environmental development projects.

The Swiss Better Gold Association partners with the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) in the Swiss Better Gold Initiative, which focuses on the work with the artisanal and small-scale operations in gold-producing countries.
