Monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) enables sustainability standards and similar systems to measure the impact of their strategies and demonstrate their progress towards achieving defined objectives. It is one of the fundamental components of a sustainability system. But there is not a definitive approach to measuring impacts as the strategies must be tailored to the sector, scope, and defined sustainability objectives of the scheme. This webinar explores the common elements of MEL systems and how they have been incorporated within the second draft of the ISEAL Code of Good Practice. We will reflect on how we have addressed feedback on the first draft and highlight the range of ways you can participate in the consultation.
